Newark Science and Sustainability, Inc. (Newark SAS) will be expanding its Farm to Table Co-op after a successful launch in 2018. Following the model of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, a system in which a farm operation is supported by shareholders within the community, individuals will be able to make an advance payment of $395 to receive weekly fresh, locally grown produce packages, feeding 2 to 4 people for 20 weeks (June – October). This also comes with cooking demonstrations, nutrition fact sheets, conversation with the farmers, and so much more.
You could also sponsor a family. Click the link to sign-up today by completing the Sponsorship Form.
Sponsor a Family
By sponsoring a family, your membership ensures that fresh, healthy food reaches the tables of those residing in neighborhoods throughout the Greater Newark community defined as a food desert (neighborhoods that lack access to healthy food) or has no reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.

Sponsors could either chose a full membership, providing produce packages for 20 weeks ($395) or a partial membership, providing produce packages for 10 weeks ($200).
